1 teaspoon salt
1 cup white vinegar

Method
Place the vinegar and salt into a small bowl and slowly stir in the cornflour until it becomes a paste.
Uses
To see your brass shine like new, apply the paste directly to the metal objects. Leave to work for 15 to 20 minutes, before rinsing with clean, warm water, and buffing dry with a clean microfibre cloth for a super-shiny finish.
